Beautiful Fool by L.J Findlay

Ohhh the fun continues.

After the ending of Little Doll I have been twiddling my thumbs impatiently waiting for this book and I couldn't stop myself from diving right in.

Gemma as I character I loved, she did get little whiney more than once, but she was the beautiful nieve fool that book said but at the same time was completely relatable in her insecurities.

You also know that although not strong naturally that she really was working through them and can see growth at end of the book not just the exact same as she was in the first book and throughout which is awesome.

Bastien I really wanted to hate at the beginning after how he was with Gemma but I also could see how well they fit and just couldn't stop myself for routing for them.

I'm making the rest very brief as I don't want to give away anything and after writing 3 times and doing just that this was a great second book and that has left me wanting to see more of the group and see how the other love interests go as well as everyone overall.

The writing is super and I honestly can't believe this is only the second novel by the writer. Can't wait to see more. If you are a contemporary romance reader especially those interested in the sub genres of Secret Societies or darker themes then you really need to read this Queens of Chaos series.

Diamond in the Rough by Deja Voss

Read the trigger warnings.

I thankfully don't have any but I wanted to make sure that if you do you should check these first.

Not all of the book is very graphic but did find the authors way with words paints a very clear picture and there are some violent points to the story.

Brass is the enforcer of the MC and has had a rough childhood but obviously a big heart. Especially when it comes to Jewel the club bartender and previous old lady to another member.

There story certainly isn't a quick insta love and there's definitely some hard bumps in both their individual histories and there relationship so I found I was grabbed by it.

The writing certainly kept me interested throughout and I was just waiting for them to get their happy ending. I'm not sure their story is completely finished, though definitely the book ends nicely, so I look forward to seeing them in other books of series.

Other MC Romance readers should definitely pick up this book there are others in the series but it can be read as a standalone.

Double Down By K.L Ramsey

One night stand gone wrong.

Lyla needed to take her mind off the darkness she saw in her life and when she met Wyatt and Quinn a night of fun with pair seemed like a good idea. You just knew the author had to keep them around with the writing immediately having me wanting more.

I loved Lyla's character as she's so strong and her talking back and fighting at every turn was what I needed to see.

With every romance it seems there is of course twists and turmoil but I very much had my eyes glued to this story all the way through.

It's very much a standalone novel however other characters were mentioned from another book it doesn't need to be read to make this one make sense or less enjoyable.  For more fun of course I would say read ALL the books but certainly feel free to start here.

Twist of Fate by Sinclair Kelly

I love this series.

I binge read these first two books of the Ghost Girl Series and honestly I need more. I can't recommend enough as this just has me hooked and rooting for Fate and her guys to get a happy ending.

There is a mystery going on in the novel so you can see the darker side that is there but the writing and characters caused this also to be entwined with some much needed light heartedness and had me giggling through out it.

Fate is an awesome character I love her so much. The love she has for all 5 guys is clear even if they all don't have all their memories.  Each of the guys are different (well the twins are bit alike but still) and it's great to watch them rebuild a relationship with her.

Although this is a supernatural type romance I honestly think most people would enjoy this an need it in their lives. This for me is a must read.

Faultline by Mia Michele

Different format but worth the read.

This is a long book and gives us the 2 main characters Lexi and Giovanni's view points but not chapter by chapter like most which think is what i found the strangest thing in the book. However once I got use to idea I did enjoy it.

Otherwise it was a more typical Mafia Boss and Undercover librarian if ever there was such a thing.

I enjoyed the characters including those of Giovanni's siblings so I am hoping I can see more from them in the authors future releases. This will definitely recommend by me for the Mafia romance readers out there.

Pride by K.L Ramsey

Ooh I love this series already!

K.L Ramsey hits it out the park again with another opening series for her Deady Sins Syndicate series. This wasnt quite what I was originally expecting from the series title as Pride is trying to avoid being part of the Syndicate but I was gripped soon as I started.

While I liked Damion Pride and found his business partner Finn Envy both amusing and intriguing, can't wait for his book, it was Nixon Ryder that I loved. She was so strong willed especially at the beginning but we got to see much softer side of her too.

Love this author and have now read most of what has been released so far in a massive binge this year so I know that I will look forward to seeing the rest of the series unfold. Recommend this book especially those who enjoy more enemies to lovers book.

Aces Wild by K.L Ramsey

Keeping it in the family.  I love it!

While some may not appreciate Ace wanting to be with his Ex's Sister I thought the story was very well done and very different from what I was expecting.

K.L Ramsey creates some more amazing characters in this opening book of the Smokey Bandits MC Series. We briefly heard about them in the Savage Hell MC and I was expecting something much darker. That is not the case.

Ace may be the president but he is complex character who wants a better life for his daughter Bella. When his Ex ran off with her and his best friend he would do anything back and Charity seems to realise that. She ends up sending her sister Trinity to give Bella back.

The two sisters are nothing a like which I found the writer showed so well and the fact Ace realised that too was easy too believe. Trinity and Ace are two people who are perfect for each other.

I can't recommend the book enough and I will be waiting anxiously for the next Smokey Bandits book!

Altin by K.L Ramsey

Devoured this in one sitting.

Altin is a great addition for the Tirina Brothers Trilogy it had me gripped right from, the beginning.

We had already met Altin in Llir and know that he wanted out of the Syndicate and away from his father but he helps his brother Llir and his family by agreeing to step up as next in line as head of the family.

This had me intrigued as to how his book would be and when we meet Blake you just know that the pair will be explosive together.

Blake I love because she doesn't automatically give in to Altin's attention. Its refreshing to see. She's a tough woman but you also get to see the softer side when Blake's past is brought up.

I couldn't have put this down if I tried and I'm now dying for what is to come in the conclusion of the trilogy and what is in store for the youngest brother of the family, Veton.

Carmelo's Malice by C.A Rene

Not at all disappointed.

So sacrilege admitting this but I haven't yet read the whitsbourgh series but that will quickly be rectified. I devoured Ivy's Venom and Carmelo's Malice in under 26 hours, only took that as had stuff to do, and have loved it.

Usually the progenies can be hard to write and might be because i didn't read them first but I thought these just fit and were so well written.

Carmelo and Cameron are quite the duo and even though are complete opposites their friendship was one of my favourite things in the book.

The only thing that topped that was Catalina she has been raised by the Cartel and rose through their ranks by being bad a$$ but she can't seem to keep her temper when Carm is around. The heat between them had me glued to the pages and I never wanted it to end.

Couldn't recommend this enough I am already dying for the next one in the series and know I will be going back for the originals as soon as possible.

Entwined by E.C Land

Amazing follow up.

This is the second in The Aligned Hearts Series and focuses on the arranged marriage of Mitch and Alison. We met them both in the previous book as Alison is Bridgets sister.

Mitch only agreed to this to help Alison bring married off to someone far worse but he's had his heart closed off for many years. Alison thankfully is nothing like her sister and you can see the two of them start to entwine in each others lives and around the others heart.

There is bit of twist in this too but I can't say anything as don't want to accidentally give spoilers. This isn't a really dark book that one might expect when its related to the mob but still very much enjoyable read and I do love that few of Devil's Riot MC characters do a guess star into it too.

This book can be read as standalone but definitely think that Embraced would give more backstory to parts plus its another great read. These are great for readers who enjoy arranged marriage romance books and both are recommended reads.

Brutal King by Nikita

Don't know where to begin...

This is such an amazing start to the series and can't wait to read more when the rest are released.

I will definitely say if you have triggers please read the warnings for this! I haven't came across having any that effect me but I know some do and wouldn't want to trigger you or have someone read this that won't enjoy.

The start of this was strange it jumped up through the ages and honestly I was having issues expecting not to like this at all. However soon as we got to the present day and the hate and anger kicked in for Winter and Mason I was hooked.

Got to love a bad boy and Mason definitely fits the bill. But Winter has also turned into bit of a firecracker and the mouth on her has her fighting back. Everytime she breaks she gets back up and I love them both so much in this.

This starts off as them being sweethearts and first loves but it definitely doesn't stay this way. It's a bully romance all the way. Characters are university rather than kids which I like better too I think either way I'm definitely a hit of this one and desperately waiting for more!

Calling all bully romance readers to check this out and get it added to your tbr lists!
