Ice by Scarlett Black

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

Such an unconventional plot that I couldn't wait to read it and it was the worth the wait.

It shows us older characters for a change. Harley I found amazing she was an old lady in the Battle Born MC but her husband died and now she a widow and struggling to find her way with moving on with her own life.

She's not afraid of Ice at all and there snappy repertoire is great. He got his name for a reason but you can tell straight away there's an interest in Harley but because she's an old lady she's off limits.

Ice is travelling to Vegas with Harley to protect her but also unbeknown to Harley also on "club business".

She wants him too and wants to try what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. I really loved the pair of them and its ones I'd love to know n read more about.

I haven't read the Battle Born MC and certainly didn't feel like it was needed to read the book. Nothing was missing from the story by not having read them so this definitely can be read as a standalone. 

Definitely a thumbs up from me and would recommend to readers who enjoy MC darker stories and those looking for more mature characters.

Ghoul by Chelle C. Craze and Eli Abbott

Amazing back story.

Ghoul is done as a standalone but its also a prequel to another Royal Bastards MC book that I now know I will need to read.

I was already interested in Ghoul's character when he saved and helped Scorch in Cyclone of Chaos. 

This is hard to review without too many spoilers so it may seem brief.

I liked the main characters Ghoul and Hazel and getting points of view from each of them. 

I loved the dynamic between them that the story of them meeting and getting together so much more interesting. 

It was very much focused on the relationship between the two of them not much on club life or other members apart from a couple of mere snippets. 

However that was what I believe it was suppose to be about. Its like a retelling of them meeting and their story.

I would definitely recommend and I will need to get Bad Like Me soon so can let you know what I think of that as well!

Cyclone of Chaos by E.C. Land

I need more...

The beginning of this could make your heart break Samuel's so upset at the loss of his wife he has a death wish. But an MC member finds him and he becomes Scorch.

10 years later he has locked down his emotions and is looking for revenge on the man who killed his wife. First however he has to deal with discovering that his wife is in fact alive and they have a son together.

There was a lot of potential on this book. I loved the plot ideas with this plus I liked what I got to see of the characters. However it was not enough. There felt like big wholes in parts and I wanted to know so much more.

I hope there's another book that may bring answers i have regarding Scorch and Emery but the way this went left me slightly disappointed. 

Its not enough that I wouldn't try more by author by any means and would still recommend the book to others.
