Lean In by Deja Voss

Oh god, I'm so shocked.

Lean In brings the Royal Bastards MC to Pittsburg and the Prez, Bruiser and his son the VP Lean are to visit the Gallo Mansion to try and work out a deal with the Cartel.

Lean is not happy about being there or negotiating the family especially Catarina. When he hears banging he ignores Catarina's excuses and opens a closet door.

The closet which Mani falls out of in the middle of a panic attack. She was put there in punishment by her step siblings along with suffering other tortures so that she can keep her littlest sister Ella, who has cystic fibrosis, safe.

I love how Lean instantly claims Mani without even realising it but knows that she is meant to be his.

Mani grows to be a great stong women through the book. Her inner strength can be seen at beginning so nice that it came out the forefront of her personality.

The things is that I think it happened a little to quick. I would expect more and feel something is missing to making this story astounding.

Lean also seems to have a issue with bits missing from making his story that could form a complete character.

The storyline is well thought on and something unique for me. I found myself unable to put the book down until it was finished.

There was then an epilogue that I nearly missed as the book had said the end. Thankfully I didn't as it's got another bit to a cliffhanger ending that has me wanting more.

Can't wait to see what Deja Voss does next with this. She is a new author for me but certainly one that I will be looking for more to read from in the future.
