Into the Darkness by C.A Rene

Oh so glad to be back in Whitsborough.

This had me just as hooked if not more so than the first book. Ember is going down a darker path and thankfully she isn't alone now to deal with it all. My heart breaks for her and all that she has lost so Vin's unwavering loyalty and love despite her actions is exactly what I want from her. Lots more secrets are uncovered so need to be careful in review as don't want to spoil but this definitely is a must read for me and will remain on my reread list as well as those I recommend.

Taming Lucia by Raissa Donovan and Addison Wolf

I find hard to write review without saying too much to give away actual parts of the book. I will say that the warnings should be read just like with the others there are some triggers some may find hard or just not be something enjoy. For those who like the darker the better RH then this should make the cut for sure. I cantjump into 3rd yet as haven't got but I know will be first thing that I get to im glad already released at least as honestly interested how this will end and really want to see how the guys will react after that ending I can guess be pretty explosive but also hoping to see more of there softer side or least more bout them.

Through The Pain by C.A Rene

Oh my what a start.

Straight off I was drawn straight in and absolutely loved Ember. Her attitude and one off statements that are in this had me laughing out loud and getting some strange looks when I wasn't alone reading. The darkness in her is matched in Vin even though she's definitely the one to watch. Having a young fmc who is so strong and real fighting technique was great plus she does seem older than her actual age which sometimes the younger characters lose my interest but not these guys. The end had me jumping straight in for more I can't get enough of this world. Highly recommend this book!

Filthy Truth by Serena Akeroyd

It concludes.

So the conclusion comes for the O' Donnelly brothers and brings us the end of Connor and Stars story. I love the pair of them and that kept me going. With being so long of a series and there's becomming 2 parts it's longer than my brain thought and while there was a few times thought was losing interest it did keep me from dropping it all together and the future look in has me desperate for the next gen and the other connecting stories of the world too. I don't want to let them go. Definitely remsjbs on my series that I recommend and sure will stay on my reread lists too.

Breaking Lucia by Raissa Donnovan and Addison Wolf

I had read Lucia's sisters books first (well the first 2 awaiting next) while waiting I just had to come read this story. The 2 sisters are quite different so wasn't sure how would be but I really found myself drawn into this book. Please beware of all triggers for this book there is a lot of darkness with dub con and non con for these along with being humiliated and forced into situations so it's not for everyone at all but I know im going to be continuing to find more from Lucia Victor Angelo and Saint and hopefully more from the authors.

Filthy Lies by Serena Akeroyd

Connor and Star I love this pair.

They have from the beginning seemed like the perfect match and now we get to see more of them including Connor chasing her down and Star finally relenting not to keep try and so everything alone. Though of course this is a struggle for her. There was a lot going on in the book and knew at end would want to read the next part of the duet so I held off glad I did.

Corpse Roads by J. Rose

The Sabre Security is back.

This is a spin off but can be read as standalone but was great to see the guys back along with Hunters brother in this book even more that we get the gang back in too ss they have stayed in touch.

Harlow has been through so much in her life and so much of it comes through in the writing the plot had me hooked from start to finish and screaming for more by the end. I cant wait for the next in the series.

For those who like rh with darker themes then I would say this should be read as soon as possible though do check triggers especially regarding religious cults and gruesome deaths along with mental health issues.

Sparking Ares by Kristine Allen

This was a hit for me.

So Ares has came from another friendly MC and I had resd in the anthology a bit of this and was more than interested to see his story. This sees him looking for revenge and kidnaps Ember. Despite this the attention is clear and you just know that he can't follow through on his plan. He has so much to work through after losing the women he loves but the chemistry between the pair makes it hard for them to keep there hands to themselves. It also has the intrigue of an added secret as he's also a shifter though this is in the background as with the others in this series though I was caught up and this didn't make it harder for me to read (personal preference at the time of reading was struggling with pnr) will be looking forward to more soon and would be one recommend reading.

Raptor's Revenge by Kristine Allen

Excellent end to the pairs story.

So this picks up direct from where last one ends and thankfully answers some of those unanswered questions and tues it all together. It also gives more of an introduction for Ares book which comes next. So much more is learnt of Raptors history and gives him more closure so that he and Sage can be a proper family along with Sam and Seth as well.

Taming Raptor by Kristine Allen

Ohh Raptor...

So he's getting ready for his move and this gives more into his history as he's keot so many secrets but also tried to stay away from "Cookie" due to his history and the age gap. This is a look slightly different from normal as he clearly has feelings for the Club girl which is nice to see also no shaming her for her history either. This one is done in two parts so had waited so I could resd both together glad did as I do hate waiting. This also had paranormal twist which I have been avoiding not sure if was due to liking the writer or what but even bringing shifters in for this one could not distract me from flying through it. So if like mc romance and shifterrs i'd get this added to your list.

Sin's Betrayal by Nikki Landis

After the gap in the series for a while I jumped straight in for this book. Mac being the pres and back with the MC made me instantly want him to find his happily ever after. He's lost so much a look already and deserves to have Charlotte even if he thinks staying away is for her own good. I found this a nice quick read for me and as love the writing fiubdveasy to get through. The series might have slight paranormal background but this book was really just focused on the pair so even though haven't managed many pnr this didn't stop my enjptment at all. Look forward to more of both series and others from the author in general.

Relentless Devil by Kylie Kent

The Valentini's are back ...

Theo Jr gets his book in the first in this series for the next generation. His stalker tendencies remind me a bit of his dad for sure and loved to see his immediate interests in Maddie while she was the one more reserved and it wanting to let him in.

Really enjoyed the book and didn't want to put it down. I was hoping for bit more from the parents and extended family because missed them so much but this has been done so can be read without the others first and has made me want to read the rest of the brothers so much and definitely be one that I recommend.

Vengeful Rotten Casualties by Lucy Smoke

The finale is here.

Since began the series I have been hoping that these 2 would get a book and that it's together it's even better for me. Micki reminds me a lot of Avalon there interaction in this book is amazing and wish I was on night out with those two. She has been through so much so felt right that it was Luc that she was with. They might not have seen each other for year's but there feelings just grow now neither of them are as young and innocent. Plus you see Luc integrating a little more with the sick boys too. For me this was perfect ending to the series I didn't want to put it down and was sad to see it end. Hoping might be more from them all as other series progress. I recommend reading full series for the full effect as flows better but those who have triggers please check warnings first.

Ruining Vanessa by Raissa Donovan and Addison Wolf

I'm completely hooked.

Ok so once I started to read this I couldn't put it down they guys start to show there more human gentle side in this book however it is very limited and the book is quite possibly darker than the first. I was completely sucked in as I just wanted more and if the next book was out already im certain I would have jumped right in. I'm dying to see more of the guys and learn more about them they really are still bit of a mystery and I am hoping that book 3 we will get to know them, there thoughts and emotion as well as there histories. I enjoyed the writing of this duo and have already been looking at the previous trilogy of the sister which im hoping I can read soon.

Dragon Slayer by C.A Rene

Holy Hell.

My two fave things this author and MC romance put together for the first time. I was so excited to see this advertised especially also being RH and it in no way disappointed. It blew me away.

I loved the characters in some ways loved to hate of course. The writing had me addicted from the first page and I didn't put it down I was hooked all the way through and screaming for more.

Can't wait for the next book and would definitely recommend for other dark MC Romance readers who also like RH. There are triggers so please take that into consideration if have any.
