Aunt Ivy's Cottage by Kristin Harper

I love the sound of the location.

Ivy's cottage is more like a big old house that sounds amazing the descriptions through the book of it and Dune Island as a whole make me want to live there.

This was the first book of Kristin Harper's that I have read. Even though I found out later there is another Dune Island book this doesn't need to be read for this story.

I found that the flow of this wasn't quite what I was expecting there were parts where I was very engrossed but at others I was struggling to keep going. The ending especially between Zoey and Cousin Mark while gave an unexpected twist also felt too rushed.

The writing of this with the descriptions especially pulled me in and the premise of the book was great. I would definitely read more of her work as overall I did like the book.

Don't Mess With Texas by K.L Ramsey

Great start to a brand new series.

Since reading Whiskey Tango in the RBMC series I have been dying to read this and see what happens with Anders K.L Ramsey did not disappoint.

I love the authors writing and her characters are amazing. I'm so looking forward to the rest of this series and reading more of K.L Ramsey's work.

Anders is an FBI agent who is working to bring down cartels. He is set up on a blind date by his best friend Whiskey and his wife Luciana. The date just happens to be with his high school crush Texas.

Texas has wanted Anders since school and so when she bumped into Whiskey and Luci at the supermarket she agrees for them to see up the date.

I loved that we got to see more of Whiskey and Luci after Whiskey Tango. They helped bring the story to a new level for me and when Texas gets close to Luci I enjoyed there friendship.

However, with Luci still wanted by the Cartel it also puts Texas in danger. Anders could really lose his second chance of being in love and having a family if he can't find her in time.

I would definitely recommend this book for other romance readers. Overall I loved this book and I cannot wait for the next book in the series to be released.

Filthy Sex by Serena Akeroyd

This series just keeps getting better.

Serena Akeroyd has done an amazing job with the Filthy Feckers and Dark and Dirty Sinners Universe. I was dying for Brennan's story and Filthy Sex did not disappoint.

The heroines perfect for Brennon right from the beginning but as the relationship grows you can really see her strength. He couldn't have found anyone more right for him.

We get to know so much more about all the O'Donnelly's and while it answers some questions there was bits that brings so much intrigue that I just need to know more!

I can't wait for more. This book and series' are the most recommended that I have read. If you haven't started then I would say to jump in now to catch up.

Court of Frost by Helen Scott and Lucinda Dark

Wow another amazing installment in the Twisted Fae Trilogy!

The book starts right where Court of Crimson took off as they land at Alfheim and now they must make there way to the Court of Frost.

This court however Cress soon discovers it is not the same as Crimson's or the princes that rule it -or at least most of them. Its much colder and dangerous especially to her and her human friend that she brought along.

Cress has to leave her behind in the travel to the new Court where she will meet the 2 Queens that rule. Things take an unexpected turn all round in this book as while some twists are forseen easily others where a shocker.

The cliffhanger ending has me dying to read Court of Midnight. The authors have some great writing that the suspense created has me needing more.

I would definitely recommend the story to other readers who appreciate Paranormal Romance. Can't wait to get the chance to read the finale of the trilogy though I have grown attached to the characters I must know what happens!

Snow On The Range by Sofia Aves

Slow-burn Christmas romance with suspense mixed in.

After reading Sofia Aves last book I couldn't wait for this. I was in need to of Christmas story as well which made it ideal.

This romance came with a lot of suspense and storyline just kept you guessing with the twists. Excellent writing by the author.

The main character Eve had an amazing personality which I loved. She was very strong women who was also very independent. Her and Archer had this unbelievable chemistry that just grew through out the story.

I would definitely recommend this book and look forward to reading the next Red Hart Ranch book.

Fabricated Christmas by Glenna Maynard

Lighthearted Sweet Christmas Book

I have read a couple of books by Glenna Maynard before but this was completely different. Still amazing writing by her though and was exactly what I needed.

I found this to be a great fast read that had me laughing out loud especially at Finnicks mums matchmaking ways.

Top points of why I love is the tropes single dad and fake relationship turning real. Definitely recommend for those needing some lighthearted reading this Christmas.

Desecrated Essence by C.A Rene

I am in awe of this author.

OK I dived straight into this after Desecrated Flesh and it certainly didn't disappoint. The writing is amazing and it just drew me straight in.

I loved all the guys especially as I got to learn more bout them. I'm keeping this short as like with the first book I am trying not to spoil any of it.

The ending was left open (and what an emotional ending it was) so im hoping that there will be more. I highly recommend this duet and will be top of my 2020 fave book list.

Absolutely can't wait to read more by the author in the future.

Desecrated Flesh by C.A Rene

Wow I'm so glad I tried Again

I was unwell when started this so struggled to get into it. After speaking to a friend who knows my taste in books I had a rest and waited until I was better to start it again.

Oh my. I'm so glad that I did. Instantly this time I was grabbed Kailey has a group of guys, Caine, Zeke, Cooper and Brody, who although used to be friends have been making her life miserable. Also a new student Councillor Oliver who has her trust.

I can't say much on it because worried will spoil someone but this has turned into a top read for me this year and I look forward to not just the next book in the duet but for much more from the author as this writing is phenomenal.

I will say however that this is a great bully RH romance that has a lot or trigger warnings attached to it. I will say though if this isn't an issue for you then this book is a must read.
