Sweet Temptations: The Babysitter by L.M Mountford

This was a quick novella read of a man who cheats on his wife with the babysitter so for those who can't stand cheating in a book be warned.

The start of this book starts at an office party and seemed like there might be a bit of a story that was building but by the time he gets home really its a just a quick sex scenes that made me feel like I was missing something completely when the story ended.

The Babysitter was not underage but few years older so that was a plus but was done all from the mans point of view. Even with that I didn't find him likeable or engaging in the least.

I think this may be as been split into sections but for me it hasn't grabbed me enough for to rush and read the next installment.

Overall wasn't really for me.

Court of Crimson by Helen Scott and Lucinda Dark

Court of Crimson is the first in the Twisted Fae series and the first I have read of the author and I can't believe I have waited as long.

The story finds us in the middle of a war between the Fae and Humans at a human orphanage that has been the home to Cress for 21 years.

Things quickly changes when a castle appears from nowhere and Cress stumbles upon the 3 princes that rule it.

She may not be human either and as she faces death if she is I was hoping that she would pass the tests to prove she is in face a changeling (a fae child left behind as a human).

I found that I quickly loved Cress as she was such a sassy female who had always been outspoken and a rule breaker. They guys were all so different and I want to get to know them.

The authors have done a great job a  setting up this intricate world with fab characters which has left me eager for more.

Definitely on my recommend list for those who enjoy Paranormal Romances.

The Violinist of Auschwitz by Ellie Midwood

An amazing story of who seemed to be an amazing woman.

I have read a lot of these books and I wasn't sure how the author would be able to really get me interested without it seeming to be a repetition of other books. However, Ellie Midwood's amazing writing just sucked me straight in.

Alma Rosè was a famous Violinist before the war and when she was sent to Auschwitz she becomes the conductor to the inmates musical team and sets to make the orchestra Impeccable to try and save them from the gas chambers.

The characters sprung to life of the page and I was completely absorbed and felt great admiration of such a strong women.

Ellie showed how strong Alma needed to be to try and get her girls through the war and even when seemed was pushing them too much that it was for a good reason and you were still able to see her caring heart throughout.

A heartbreaking story that is based on a real person so if have triggers or don't like sad stories this obviously isn't for you.

For those who do like to read historical books especially centred around Auschwitz then this is one that needs to be added to your list.

Embrace the Darkness by Ashley N. Rostek

Oh my what a book !!

I have heard such great things about this book but after previously being let down I went in feeling very skeptical. But my oh my it didn't come close to disappointed Ashley completely blew me away.

My obsession was right from the first line right the way to the end which I stayed up well into the early hours of the morning to keep reading.

I just love Maura and here confident, crazy and defient ways. Being a woman who's grown up in the Irish Mob would have broken so many women but her strong willed nature just has me waiting to see what crazy antics she's going to come out with next.

The men in the book all brought there own personalities to the story. I think I liked them each in their own way but damn I need a Jamie in my life!

The Ending nearly had me having heart palpitations and screaming for the next book. Thankfully not long to wait for Endure the Pain but certainly the bar has been set high for it.

Any Mob and Mafia romance readers who appreciate a strong princess should definitely get this added to the top of their to be read lists.

Luring Light by KE Osborn

So much better than I thought it could be.

I have enjoyed KE Osborn's other RMBC books and was interested to see how this would go with Void actually having and showing emotions for Ivy. Her writing and characters in this though had me going through rollercoaster emotions and not able to put it down.

I am keeping this short as I don't want to give anything away at all but I can't help but say I love Ivy and her darker emotions and glad to see this pair have made it together and are happy.

I look forward to seeing more of them in upcoming books in the series and more of KE Osborn's writing. I have no issues recommending this to any MC Romance readers but if have any triggers definitely look out for any warnings.

Maverick

I love Mav but Ghost is my hero.

I am keeping this review short as everything I tried to write it up I have ended up spoiling something.

Serena Akeroyd is an amazing author but she also knows how to break my heart at the same time. After some more shocking revelations in Cruz I wasn't sure what more could be done to hurt my aching heart.

Well I should have known better as Serena has to be the Queen to rollercoaster emotions and mystery.

Maverick let's us in on some secrets but those well placed crumbs just means we know there is so much more to come in the Dark and Dirty Sinners MC and Filthy Feckers series and I for one cannot wait!

This has become a highly recommended book in a series I seem to be annoying everyone into reading as it is just so good. If haven't started already then absolutely get started even with the tears shed it's completely worth it. Mav is so lucky to have found Ghost.

Taming Bull by Harley Stone

Much anticipated book finally here.

Ever since meeting Bull in Link’d Up when he first joined the MC I wanted to know more. Plus I really wanted him to find someone to love as well and Harley Stone delivered.

Taming Bull shows Lily's fight to get out of the "friend" zone and Bull to stop fighting his attraction for her.

Lily has been through so much after being raped and meeting the MC when they tracked her down to testify and free Havoc from jail. Instantly I knew I would want them to be happy together as I already cared for both of the characters.

Bull's history is whats causing him to push Lily away and as I learned more about his past my heart could have broken for him.

As always though author came through big time so that they could get there happy ending but the journey itself was a great read.

This series has been one of my favourite and I can say I would still recommend both this book and the whole of the Dead Presidents MC Series.

Devil's Ride by Nikki Landis

I just love Grim even more now.

I knew there was so much more to learn and Nikki Landis does amazing job here in Devil's Ride to fill in the blanks.

The book starts by showing us how Grimm and the club became who they are as well as his first encounter with Tricia. Then the story is of them finding each other again.  This can be hard to fit in the book but this felt the flow was just right.

Tricia has had always looked after herself and I loved that when she is seeing Grimm that she still wants to remain independent and fights for that. We need more women like this.

Grimm is harder to explain as don't want to spoil the story but I loved this character so much and his devotion to Tricia just made me melt. He had my interest from the previous books but now I understand him and his actions so much better.

This book is a must read for those who enjoy MC Romance although like most books there are a few things that may be a trigger for some readers.

I can't wait to see what happens next.

Double the Mistletoe by K.L Ramsey

Just whats needed to put me in the Christmas spirit.

Going home for the holidays can be stressful so we have a lovely novella here of Winter and her best friend Chris going back home to there home town.

However, Chris has made a plan to be Winters fake boyfriend that not only does he want to make real he wants to also include his Ex and friend Like as well.

Thats had me laughing which was exactly what I wanted but I also really felt for the three main characters. K.L Ramsey again created an amazing story but the best job was in making me want the characters to all be together.

Highly enjoyable quick read I was disappointed that it had to end. Any reader who enjoys a Ménage storyline and doesn't mind MM should definitely read Double The Mistletoe this Christmas.

Double Crossed by K.L Ramsey

This is by far a favourite Ménage book for me.

Can't believe has took me so long to read this but wow I'm glad I have now. K.L Ramsey has done a great job with the writing and I loved the characters.

Ellie is our lead FC, she is a lawyer who thinking she may be in danger climbs a mountain just as a snow storm is coming to get her ex's, Nash, help. On the way she helps a stranger West and takes him with her.

I struggle to write the review so that I don't give too much of the story away but I will try here. The 3 of them for me had me gripped throughout and I was desperately wanting them to be together and make it through there issues.

The storyline was so well executed and my investment in them had me not putting the book down from start to finish. I even forgot to eat, which trust me does not happen all that often!

For any booklovers who enjoy a romance book and is ok with a Ménage as well as MM action should absolutely give this a read.
